Motorcycle tour
We are coming closer to the end of the hurricane season. It’s been pretty tame this year as far as hurricanes are concerned and being in the Luperon harbour, we’ve been very protected. Often the black clouds are rolling in, big flashes of lightning and roaring thunder but nothing ever comes into our little corner of the DR. We are looking forward to heading out in the next month or so, with a small stop at Ocean World marina to take care of our mechanical issue and then resume our journey. Since many islands are still closed or require costly PCR testing to enter, even if fully vaccinated, we have yet to decide on our next destination. With many countries starting to open up, we are hopeful that the Caribbean islands will do the same. It has been brutally hot in the last 3 to 4 months with September being the worst.
